On its crowdfunding Mijia platform, Xiaomi has unveiled new smart glasses that compete with Google Glass. Last year, Xiaomi unveiled the idea of smart glasses, and as of right now, the firm is accepting pre-orders.

The device weighs almost 100 grams and has a number of handy functions. It has a specialized chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage that is based on the Snapdragon 8 series. The fact that it has a separate Internet Service Provider is interesting.

Regarding the display, it is a Sony creation. It boasts a silicon-based OLED with a 3,281 PPI density and a 3000 nit maximum brightness. Additionally, the gadget has TUV Rheinland certification for blue light defense.

The gadget features two cameras with a 5x optical zoom. Its main sensor is a 50MP device with Quad Bayer pixel binning. An 8MP, 5x telephoto periscope camera with OIS serves as the backup camera (Optical Image Stabilization). Up to 100 minutes of video can be constantly recorded on it.

The Mijia Glasses Camera’s battery has a 1020mAh capacity and supports 10W wireless charging. It provides live translation on the screen and can charge up to 80% in just 30 minutes. Native support for Xiaomi’s AI helper XiaoAI is one of the additional features.

The Mijia Glasses Camera is currently available for CNY 2,499 ($370). As soon as the business begins mass manufacturing, the price will be increased to CBY 2,699 ($400).
