Mohammad Rizwan Break Record

Mohammad Rizwan is now the first player to ever score more than 300 runs in a single bilateral T20I series.

Wednesday’s star performer Mohammad Rizwan altered the history of cricket. He became the first batter to ever hit more than 300 runs in a bilateral T20I series. The man-in-form helped Pakistan win the fifth game of the seven-match series. And grab a 3-2 lead with another brilliant half-century against England.

At the first T20 in Lahore, when he hit 63 off 46 balls to help Pakistan to a respectable total. Rizwan played a crucial supporting role. And with his half-century, Rizwan became the first batter in the history of the bilateral T20I series to have scored the most runs.

In the first five games of the seven-match series against England, Rizwan has scored 315 runs. And he still has to participate in the next two games. This record was previously established by Pakistani captain Babar Azam, who scored 210 runs in four innings during a 2021 match against South Africa.

Rizwan also outperformed Leslie Dunbar of Serbia, who scored 284 runs in four innings against Bulgaria.
