Following his team’s loss to the Chiefs on Monday night, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is likely to get criticism from the league. And maybe even a punishment, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network Insider mentioned sources in his article. Adams shoved the individual down as he was leaving GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium and heading into the tunnel. Adams apologized to the person shortly after and discussed the incident during his postgame news conference.
Statement of Davante Adams
Before I continue, I want to apologize to the cameraman who sprinted and leaped in front of me. As I was leaving the field stated Adams. I ran into him as I was leaving the field and gave him a sharp shove. But I believe he ended up on the ground, so I want to apologize to him. I should not have reacted that way. But that is how I did at first, and it was simply impatience combined with his racing in front of me. He required an apology from me for that.

Later, Adams also tweeted an apology.
On Monday, Adams made two lengthy touchdown catches, one of which in the fourth quarter trimmed the Chiefs’ advantage to one point. However, a crucial catch he made in the fourth quarter was reversed after a review. And the game-winning collision between Adams and Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow occurred on a botched fourth-down try.
Adams was spotted slamming his helmet after the game, clearly incensed over the defeat of the Raiders. Soon after that, the event in the tunnel took place.
The Raiders’ record fell to 1-4 as a result of the defeat. They were led by 20-10 at half-time. But they lost in the end.
