Australia Summer Olympics 2032:. SYDNEY: As part of a strategic plan to increase participation and preserve the game’s position at the center of the nation’s sporting culture, Cricket Australia has set its sights on inclusion in the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.
In the next five years, the ambitious “Where the Game Grows” strategy hopes to double the number of kids aged five to 12. Who play the game to 210,000, with girls making up 60,000 of that total.

To host the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2032 Games, Brisbane intends to reconstruct the city’s Gabba cricket venue as a 50,000-seater Olympic Stadium.
The “sustainable future” element of the strategy, which also intends to enhance the spectator experience, grow the grassroots, and maintain Australia’s success in the international arena, includes the inclusion of cricket in the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Over the next five years, Cricket Australia wants to see both the men’s and women’s national sides win at least three ICC events.
